The EH28 is a single-acting, center-hung floor closer designed for power transfer from the frame to the door through the closer spindle for interior or exterior doors weighing up to 500lbs.

H340 top pivot included
Available non-hold open (N) or selective hold open (S) at same degree as dead stop
Built-in positive dead stop prevents doors from swinging beyond the desired opening degree; specify 85°, 90°, 95° or 105°
Provides power transfer through closer spindle; low voltage, class II wiring (2 wire, 18 gauge only)
Separate and independent valves for closing speed, latch speed, and backcheck
Cast iron cement case
Not allowed for fire rated doors
Frame stop required on the header at lock side; if not supplied by frame manufacturer, Norton Rixson 60131 recommended
2" minimum door thickness
Door sizes up to 4'0" × 8'6" (1219 × 2591mm)
Available with floor plate or threshold installation
Furnished with wood and machine screws
