They are BHMA Grade 1 certified and can hold up to 1,000 lbs. Their usage frequency depends on the weight of the door you’re installing, high frequency doors (used more than 25x per day) shouldn’t weigh more than 200 lbs. Medium-frequency doors (used 10x-24x per day) shouldn’t weigh more than 400 lbs, and low – frequency doors (used 10x per day or less) can weigh up to 1,000 lbs.
