These Zero #4_400_4000 metal weatherstrips are compatible with double-hung wooden windows. When installed along the jambs of the upper sash, the protruding design corresponds with a cutout in the window frame and interlocks to create a barrier, which prevents draft infiltration and rattling due to faulty installation. Available in three designs, and comes in a choice of either Zinc or Bronze Mill Finish.

This upper jamb metal weatherstrip comes in three designs, with a return flange, ridged, and smooth (see product specs and applications tab). A return flange allows for smooth sliding of the window as well aids in closing a slightly larger gap around the window frame . A ridged design aids in larger gap closure between the frame and jambs. The smooth design is the thinnest, requiring the least clearance between the frame and jambs.
