Details: Rixson 428 Center Hung Floor Closer, With Patch Fittings

The 428 is a single-acting, center-hung floor closer designed for standard glass door installation for full-glass interior or exterior doors weighing up to 325lbs.

  • Available non-hold open (N) or selective hold open (S) at same degree as dead stop
  • Built-in positive dead stop prevents doors from swinging beyond the desired opening degree; specify 85°, 90°, 95° or 105°
  • Top and bottom patch fittings for tempered glass doors (3/8" - 1/2" thick)
  • Separate and independent valves for closing speed, latch speed, and backcheck
  • Cycolac, rust-proof cement case
  • Floor plate standard (for threshold application an extended spindle is required)
  • Frame stop required at header on lock side
  • 605, 629 and 630 finishes only
  • Door sizes up to 3'2" × 8'0"
  • Door weight up to 325lbs.
