The Alpha Communications AEMOD8 AlphaEntry External Voice/Data Modems are designed to be used with a variety of AlphaEntry PC master stations when the internal or other modem is not fully compatible with all of the voice and data requirements of the AlphaEntry software. If the internal or other supplied modem is compatible with the AlphaEntry hardware and software, the AEMOD8 may not be required.The AEMOD8 provides a simple and easy way to connect an analog telephone line to the AlphaEntry master station, using a plug-in Universal Serial Bus (USB) interface. The AEMOD8 is powered by the USB port and requires no additional external power.
