Auxiliary latch deadlocks latch bolt. Suggested for use with electric strike. Caution should be used to ensure that the electric strike being used properly engages the latch mechanism while depressing the auxiliary latch. We recommend solid latch bolt with this lock when used with an electric strike. An anti-friction latch is standard. A solid latch is available
