Surface MountingIn addition to mounting shown, handles are available with attaching holes through face of escutcheon for suface mounting - 1-1/2" c. to c., countersunk for 10-32 screws. When ordering, suffix S to number (1001S). Screws not furnished.
RekeyingPlug removal access hole added to shank of handle to allow for removal of plug assembly for rekeying purposes. To remove plug, insert key and rotate 90 degrees. Insert small tool (e.g., paper clip) in access hole and depress retainer while pulling key and plug out of handle.
