The 608 overhead concealed closer is a center-hung closer designed for single or double-acting, non-handed, low-to-moderate traffic interior and exterior doors weighing up to 200lbs.

Features

  • Center-hung, single or double acting
  • Exterior or interior doors
  • Maximum door size: 3' 8" × 8' (interior) 3' 6" × 8' (exterior)
  • Non-handed
  • Available as non-hold open (N) - door swings 130° each direction - or automatic hold open (A) in both directions (for automatic hold open, specify 90° or 105°)
  • For aluminum doors/frames (frame size 1-3/4" × 4"), specify 608EL (end load arm) or 608SL (side load arm); side load arm attaches to the spindle thru the face of the door
  • Includes bottom pivot
  • Adjustable closing and latch speeds
  • Frame stop is required - Norton Rixson 60131 recommended
  • Closer must be used with auxiliary floor or wall stop
  • Extended spindle: 1/2" longer than standard closer spindle - must be ordered as part of the closer and cannot be added later
  • Optional: 199 end caps for top and bottom or wood door
  • Door weight up to 200lbs.
