Details: Sargent 8400 Narrow Stile Concealed Vertical Rod Exit Device 100 Series Auxiliary Control & Pull Trim

The 80 Series exit device is ideal for environments that require strong and durable security solutions. Made to last the lifetime of the building, this device easily exceeds ANSI/BHMA Grade 1 requirements for cycle and strength and is available in rim, mortise, surface vertical and concealed vertical rod configurations. With a modular design, this device has been crafted to be maintenance-free and provide unsurpassed security for any facility.

UL10C (Fire) and UL305 (Panic) listed
Specify NB- for less bottom rod
NB- Devices allows free access for wheelchairs and carts. No bottom strike eliminates tripping potential
All functions determined by outside trim
Devices are ANSI/BHMA A156.3 - Grade 1

Door Type: Hollow Metal Doors (MD), Hollow or extruded aluminum doors (AD)
Door Thickness: 1-3/4" (44mm) minimum thickness
Stile: 1-3/4" (44mm) minimum stile width required. Stile must be hollow with inside dimension of at least 1-3/8" (35mm) square
Rail sizes determined by door width: E Rail for 24" to 32" door widths, F Rail for 33" to 36" door widths, J Rail for 37" to 42" door widths, G Rail for 43" to 48" door widths
Strike: 650 Top Strike & 606 Bottom Strike (Panic and Fire Rated) [MD], 640 Strike for Top & Bottom (AD)
Dogging: Feature Hex key dogging standard on non fired rated devices; specify 16- for cylinder dogging (
